Secure Shopping Cart: The quickest and easiest way to buy from Saltire Jewellery is through our secure shopping cart, using your credit / debit card - it is safe and very easy to use. Please use the links at left to start browsing our range of beautiful jewellery. 

Contract for sale

The advertising of products on this site is an invitation to treat. That means your order is an offer, not a contract between you and us, so prices and stock availability won’t be contractually confirmed until you have received confirmation of order by email dispatched once credit card authorisation has been confirmed and stock levels have been checked.

These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by Saltire Jewellery on the site, which we may make from time to time. In particular, nothing said by any representative of Saltire Jewellery will operate as a variation of these terms and conditions or constitutes a legal representation on behalf of them.

Receipt of Order

We must receive payment in full for your order before it can be accepted. Once your credit card has been authorized and stock is checked, Saltire Jewellery will send you an email receipt confirming your order.

In exceptional circumstances, if we are not able to fulfil an order we have accepted, your credit card will be re-credited with the original price and we will notify you by email.

Saltire Jewellery reserve the right to refuse to supply to any person for whatever reason.

Defective and damaged items

If you should receive an item that you consider defective, damaged or not what you ordered, please contact us within 10 days whereby we will help you resolve any issues as quickly as possible by delivering another item or refunding the amount paid.

We accept Visa, Maestro, Mastercard and American Express.

To securely receive your payments over the Internet we use 128-bit encryption Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which is the standard Internet practise and means your credit card details are protected. You can see you are in a secure environment through the ‘padlock’ on Microsoft Internet Explorer or ‘key’ symbol on Netscape Navigator. We feel it’s important to have this level of security available, so anyone using lower version browsers should contact us by phone to place an order. We also accept cheques in pounds Sterling which should be made payable to ‘Saltire Jewellery’. Do be advised there is a two week cheque clearance delay. The full cost will be taken at the time of order.

Privacy

Your details and data.  Your privacy as an individual and as a customer is important to us, so we don’t use the information you provide on this site to learn anymore about you other than what is required to fulfil you orders.  We do not pass your details to any third parties, under any circumstances.

Saltire Jewellery does not combine your individual information with any kind of site analysis, but we do look at the overall browsing behaviour of our customers to improve the way the site navigates. We also do not track your behaviour on any other sites or follow you once you’ve left Saltirejewelleryco.uk. Any personal data gathered by us in your use of this site will be recorded electronically and only used in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998.

Guarantee / Cancellation

We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a 14 day no quibble guarantee on return of goods. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Customers are legally entitled to cancel an order within 7 working days of receipt of the product and to return it for a refund, however we have extended this period to 14 days.
However this cancellation period does not apply to body piercing products including pierced earrings.  As long as the goods are returned to us in perfect condition and once we receive them, a full refund less postage will be credited by the payment method used by the purchaser.  Please note we must receive goods back within 14 days.

If you have realized you have made a mistake and ordered the wrong item let us know via email and we will contact you to resolve the mistake. 

Returning a product
