About Our Celtic Jewellery
We manufacture and offer the finest Celtic jewelry from Ortak all our Celtic jewellery is made by skilled craftsmen. At Saltire Jewellery we believe that the simple interlacing patterns in Celtic designs are a sign of continuity, symbolising the hope of eternal life and have come to be accepted as a talisman of longevity.
We have designed and made our own range of Celtic Jewelry based on the Kilduncan Stone, which can be seen at St-Andrews Museum in Fife Scotland below is the story behing the stone carving. See our Celtic Pendants, Cufflinks, Badges and Kilt pins
Our Kilduncan designs are based on a 9th or 10th Century stone carving. Kil means church so Kilduncan would translate to Church of Duncan. Recent research suggests that Duncan may have been a Saint from Iona in the early 8th Century. The stone itself is around 1100 years old and can currently be seen at the St Andrews Museum in Fife, Scotland.
